About
Welcome to Restaurante La Locanda di Andrea, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Sevilla’s historic Casco Antiguo. Located at C. Feria, 52, this charming Italian establishment invites you to embark on a culinary journey through its tantalizing array of tapas, a concept that beautifully marries traditional Italian cuisine with the popular Spanish tradition of sharing small plates.
Upon entering, you're greeted by an inviting ambiance that combines rustic Italian charm with contemporary touches. The menu showcases an impressive variety of dishes, allowing diners to experience authentic Italian flavors in a delightful tapas style. As many patrons have noted, this restaurant transforms the typical dining experience, perfect for those who wish to sample different dishes without committing to a single entrée.
Highlights include house-made pasta that rivals any Italian kitchen in Italy, with options that satisfy both meat-lovers and vegetarians alike. Customers rave about the rich flavors of the ravioli and the pumpkin lasagna, items that are often described as “to die for.” The cheese mezzelune with mushrooms and truffle is a recurring favorite, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to fresh ingredients and creative combinations.
However, not every dish has hit the mark for all visitors. Some reviews indicate that while the pasta shines, other dishes can fall short, with comments on the simplicity of some tapas, such as fries. It’s evident that guests highly enjoy the pasta offerings, suggesting that sticking to these signature dishes may yield the best experience.
Customer service has its highs and lows, with feedback indicating room for improvement in attentiveness. For example, some diners were surprised by the handling of used cutlery during service, an experience they found less than ideal. However, the warm hospitality and accommodating staff still shine through, especially when fulfilling special requests for children or dietary needs.
For those looking to explore Italian food in a casual yet elegant setting, Restaurante La Locanda di Andrea is undoubtedly worth a visit. Offering six tapas platters for under €30 makes it an affordable adventure into the diverse tastes of Italy.
In summary, if you find yourself in Sevilla and have a craving for Italian cuisine, make sure to reserve a spot at La Locanda di Andrea. With its unique tapas approach and a focus on fresh, handmade dishes, it promises a satisfying dining experience that resonates long after the last bite.
“ Fine for Italian craving. Was looking forward to the bolognese on a Sunday, but it didn’t wow me to the point of being exceptional. Also, the caprese didn’t come with balsamic (although brought upon request) nor any greens. Fresh ingredients for the most part. ”
“ Pasta was good, but other tapas nothing special. Fries were boring. Service was OK, except that the waiter took away my plate and left the used/dirty cutlery straight on the table while waiting for my next tapas. I have never experienced this in any restaurants in my life and was a bit shocked. Prices were normal. Go for the pastas. ”
“ Wow! An Italian tapas place? Yes! It exists. Amazing Italian restaurant with a great variety of dishes. You can choose to have it as "Racion" or as "Tapa". Easy online booking. ”
“ So, I recently checked out La Locanda di Andrea in Seville, and let me tell you, it was a real treat. This spot, which is all about tapas with an Italian twist, is tucked away on this charming street, perfect for some al fresco dining vibes. Now, here's the cool part - they've got a bunch of vegan and veggie options that'll make you drool, catering to all kinds of dietary preferences. The staff is not just friendly; they're like your new tapas-loving buddies. I went all in on their fresh pasta, which you can get as little tapa-sized bites or big main courses. Seriously, the gnocchi with Gorgonzola, the mountain mushroom tagliatelle, and the pumpkin ravioli with Bolognese sauce – pure foodie bliss! And hold up, the toasted sandwiches and desserts, like their tiramisu, were on point. So, whether you're rounding up the fam for dinner or just want a chill lunch, this place has killer food and wine that won't break the bank. Quick tip: making a reservation or getting there early is a smart move. ”
“ Tapas as pasta? Pasta tapas? Call it whatever but the pasta is fresh and the sauces are amazing. I fed my Italian brother in law here and he loved it. Try the Roma Cardona and the gorgonzola ravioli. Well worth the minor walk. Amazing value. ”
“ Small place in a busy street we got a table outside and the temperatura was perfect . This was my first tapas night Italian style . Everybody should try it . You can traste many diferentes distes . We tried the ñoqui, the fried pizza, pumpkin and mushroom raviolis and a good carbonara Roman style. The house wine was a very good Italian wine. We will return ”
“ If you love Italian food, this is a must-try! I loved every bite of this Italian tapas restaurant in Sevilla’s historic city center and wish every Italian restaurant would serve dishes tapas style so you could try a little bit of everything! The raviolis are to die for and if there is a lasagna special—absolutely get it! They specialize in pasta made in house and fresh sauces/fillings for each. Every bite is light, fragrant and flavorful. My favorites were the cheese mezzelune with mushrooms and truffle, pumpkin lasagna, mountain tagliatella, and gnocchi. Will definitely be back to try some other options! Six tapas platters for under €30! Highly recommend! ”
“ Many vegetarian options. Everything was delicious and fair prices too. They have accommodated special requests for our kids that were not in the menu. Will definitely come back while in Seville. ”
